I was trying to reach for the Chocolates in the refrigerator,
And my siblings teased you need to reach A Little Higher!
Bored alone went to my granny and we played snakes and ladder
I was bit by the snake &she moved up the ladder A Little Higher!
I ran to mom, 'I want to play basket-ball with dada' I told her
She said not now you will have to grow A Little Higher!
At school I was struggling with strokes of A, I heard the teacher
A diagonal stroke yeah,no..no, not that way A Little Higher!
Confused on my way I wanted a candy to me feel lighter
I couldn't reach grrrr...I heard the machine say A Little Higher!
I graduated to high school &my score came my heart pumped faster
It was PTA,the teacher smirked and said he should aim A Little Higher!
''If you want a top college,admissions will be tough it’s college next year..
gear up''dad said .I nodded my head yeah try A Little Higher!
Friend faced the music too his answer sheet had the remark very poor
We laughed it out with a Pepsi can Cheers! A Little Higher!
We made it to college,smart girls flocked with miniskirts;we wished for thunder.
All the naughty boys screamed Boy wish it had flown A Little Higher!
Placements began we sat for interviews, top companies came to Hire
What are your plans?Dad asked. that day but my fear was A Little Higher!
Get placed & pursue MBA' Dad said. I am settled today but less happier
Annual meet I presented budgets and forecast for the coming year

When I look back I regret for not being courageous & not being a fighter!
